The primary inclinometer contains a standard AAA battery for non-computerized operation. This battery powers both the primary and secondary inclinometers for up to 25 hours of continuous usage. As the battery nears the end of its useful life, the inclinometers may experience a loss in readings from the secondary unit, general power loss, or other problems associated with an inadequate electrical supply. To replace the battery, a small phillips-head screwdriver should be used to remove the 3 screws securing the backplate/faceplate of the primary inclinometer. After removing the backplate/faceplate, take the used AAA battery from its socket and replace it with a new one, paying attention to the polarity of the battery and ensuring the secure fit of the battery connectors. Replace the backplate/faceplate and screws. The inclinometer is now ready for use! |
